To obtain a copy of a vehicle collision report you may come by the police department Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and obtain a copy at a cost of $5. For more information, call 270-765-4125.
You may call the department at 270-765-4125 and request a police officer respond to your location, or you may stop by the police station at 300 South Mulberry St. If you are outside the state you may request to file your report to an on-duty officer by telephone. Always call 911 if your situation is life-threatening.
If you believe you may have a warrant placed against you, you should call the Hardin County Court at 270-766-5041. If you believe you may have a warrant placed against you by an officer of the Elizabethtown Police Department, call 270-765-4125.
Fingerprinting is done between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Elizabethtown Police Department. You must supply your own fingerprint card. This service is provided at no charge for persons who live in the city limits of Elizabethtown. For persons residing outside of the city limits, the cost is $5. Fingerprints will be done on a first come first serve basis. To avoid a long wait, we suggest scheduling an appointment. You can find out how much a traffic ticket is by calling Hardin County District Court at 270-766-5041.
RECORDS CHECKS must be obtained through the ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE COURTS (AOC) located in Frankfort, Kentucky. The AOC office number is 1-800-928-6381.
