The Taney County Collector's Office held their Annual Delinquent Tax Sale on August 28, 2017. (Per RSMo. 140.260). It is now the responsibility of the County Collector to sell the qualified properties over the counter. The offer may be sent by mail, email, or hand delivered. If sending by email, please type "Tax Sale Offer" in the subject line. All offers must include: name, phone number, parcel number, legal description, and the amount of the offer. If your offer is accepted, you must pay, an additional recording fee, in the amount of $31.50, for each parcel. The bidder must be at least 18 years old, a Missouri resident and be able to sign an affidavit stating they do not owe any taxes. If your offer is accepted, you will receive an immediate Collector's Deed and there will be no right of redemption. On behalf of the entities, all offers will be evaluated as bona-fide offers.
