2025 Election for Districts 1, 3, and 5

Election Day - November 4, 2025

Polling Places

Your municipal election polling place may be different from your Orange County precincts. Be sure to double-check your correct polling place for this election so you go to the right place the first time.

You must also bring photo and signature identification. Example of what to bring:
  • Photo identification, with a signature.
  • Florida driver license
  • U.S. Passport
  • Military I.D.

If you need help in reading or marking your ballot, you may bring someone with you, or poll workers are available to assist. Spanish language assistance and ADA-compliant voting equipment are available at all polling places. Learn more on how to vote at ocfelections.com

If you would like to receive a vote-by-mail ballot for the upcoming Municipal Elections or any other elections through the 2025 election cycle, you will have to submit a new vote-by-mail request through the Orange County Supervisor of Elections.

Challenging Vote by Mail Ballots

Pursuant to Florida Statutes 101.6104 and Florida Statutes 101.68(2)(c)4, if any elector or candidate present believes that a vote by mail ballot is illegal due to a defect apparent on the voter’s certificate, he or she may, at any time before the ballot is removed from the envelope, file with the canvassing board a protest against the canvass of that ballot, specifying the precinct, the ballot, and the reason he or she believes the ballot to be illegal. A challenge based upon a defect in the voter’s certificate may not be accepted after the ballot has been removed from the mailing envelope.

Some, but not all of the items you will need, during the qualifying period for the City of Orlando Election are:
  • Public Records Exemption Form
  • Appointment of Campaign Treasurer & Designation of Campaign Depository (DS-DE 9) 
  • Statement of Candidate (DS-DE 84)
  • Candidate Oath (DS-DE 302NP)
  • Statement of Financial Interests (Form 1)
  • Voter Registration Card OR Certificate from Supervisor of Elections
  • Florida Driver’s License – picture ID
  • Proof of Residency with the following:
    • Homestead Exemption document OR Residential Property Lease (and contact number for Lessor/Landlord) and
    • Utility Bills (12 months which reflect usage of utilities at a level indicating actual residence)
    • Other documentation that shows intention to be a bona fide resident at their qualifying address may be submitted
  • Qualifying fee:
    • 3% is due OR
    • Waiver of 2% if qualified by Alternative Method
      • Notice of Intent to Collect Petitions was filed AND
      • Petition Certification from Supervisor of Elections received for required number of Petitions
    • Waiver of 1% if filed Affidavit of Financial Hardship
    • Check from the Campaign account made payable to the City of Orlando and signed by the Campaign Treasurer or a Deputy Campaign Treasurer
  • Sworn Statement of Qualification
  • Requirements for Qualification form with the authorization to verify signed by Candidate
