Woodruff County
Woodruff County is Arkansas's 54th county, formed on November 26, 1862 from Arkansas and Lawrence Counties.
It was named for William E. Woodruff, founder of the state's first newspaper, the Arkansas Gazette.

The county seat is located at Augusta and the courthouse address is:

According to the census bureau, as of 2010, it was the second least populated county in Arkansas
