Behavior that does not require police intervention at this time but had previous interactions with police. Individual needs help due to untreated mental health, substance use issues, lack of resources. They can be referred! 2. Through this type of referral they can get help with a case manager for food, identifcation issues, resources or just support. 3. Do they agree to participate? 4. Have them complete the form with this QR code. Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30 A case manager can meet you in the field during these hours for a warm handoff. 224-239-5303 Your mistakes don't define you. Free CPR Training

The Kane County Sheriff's Office and the Kane County Health Department are offering four free CPR classes this month:

Three three-hour sessions each day to choose from. Registration is required. Spots fill up quickly, so register soon here.

VOICES Act

The Voices of Immigrant Communiti​es Empowering Act, also known as the VOICES Act, was recently amended by the Illinois Way Forward Act (Public Act 102-0234). The VOICES Act allows “victims of qualifying criminal activity” to request a “certification form” or a law enforcement certification form or statement required by federal immigration law certifying that a person is a victim of qualifying criminal activity for use in applying for a U-Visa or T-Visa under the United States Code.
